Start your soccer ball face painting design with white, painting a circle around the whole face for the outline of the ball. Then use some black to paint on various black pieces of the ball, along with some thin lines to show the edges of the white pieces.

The black piece of a soccer ball are pentagons, so have five sides, whereas the white segments are hexagons, so have six sides. But most people won't stop to count, they'll rather be looking at the overall effect of the soccer ball design you've painted on your face.
